Summer is here and that means you’ll need to drink plenty of water. Hot temperatures put you at a higher risk for dehydration, so drinking lots of liquids is a must. Some people even bring a bottle of water everywhere they go during the summer months.

Watermelon Water Detox

This detox recipe requires three cups of chopped watermelon, half a dozen mint leaves and a half gallon of cold water. Mix the ingredients together. Allow them to chill in the refrigerator for two hours. Enjoy for the next two days. If you still have leftover watermelon water, dump it once it begins to taste sour.

Add diced cucumbers, strawberries and chopped basil leaves to a couple cups of water. Let the mixture sit for a minimum of five minutes. Citrus Detox

Summer water detox recipe can also boost your energy if you use the right ingredients. Combine sliced cucumbers, strawberries, lemons and oranges in two cups of water. This detox water blend will flush your system and also help you blast through that afternoon slump.

Cinnamon Apple Water Detox

This recipe will flush out those unnecessary metals from your system. It’s also as simple as it gets. Just add a couple cinnamon sticks and apple slices to your regular water. Let them soak in the water for at least 5-10 minutes before drinking.

Lemon Raspberry Detox

This water detox recipe clears out your system while simultaneously reducing inflammation. Rinse off half a cup of raspberries and dump them in your water. Add a hint of lemon and let the mixture chill for at least five minutes before drinking.

Green Apple Mint Cucumber Water

This is probably the tastiest summer detox water recipe around. It also can help you lose weight. Add green apple slices, chopped mint and sliced cucumber to your water. Let the flavors seep into the water across a couple hours. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator after a day of chilling and enjoy.
